Trials HD Ski Jump Skill Game 188.48m Platinum Medal
Gold/Platinum medal.
Pay attention to the stick on the bottom right of the screen, this shows the movements I made when I was doing the run.
I find it a lot easier to use the d-pad for this, after you bail off the bike hold diagonal up and right on the d-pad to get a good angle, this will make your character fly further.

You have to use the d-pad and not the analog stick. Also when your in the games main menu go to the leaderboards and go to the top ranked players. Press the Y button on one of them to watch their video on how the did it.
