will the pc game Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX work with XP?
the game will crash as soon as it starts……it doesnt matter whether or not compatibility mode is on or off, it will not work.
The game is old, but not ancient, so I don’t see why not. According to the minimum requirements, you need:
Windows 95/98, Pentium-200, Windows 95/98, 32MB RAM, 220MB disk space, 3D-accelerated graphics card, DirectX Drivers
If you’re running into trouble trying to get the game to work, remember that XP has a thing called "Compatibility Mode". All you have to do is right-click the game’s icon, select "Properties", select the "Compatibility" tab, and have it run in compatibility mode for Windows 98. Of course, don’t do this unless the game already doesn’t run!

Then the only thing I can think of is that you’re using an integrated graphics card. But if you have a dedicated card, then I’m out of ideas (at least at the moment…).
